Goodbye Ag-Press, hello Agri-Press!
Agri-Press, the new platform for our community of agricultural journalists is live as of today, 25 April!
A new name, a new look and increased security for our members and for the network's activities!
As announced during these last weeks, Agri-Press will replace Ag-Press, the platform which faithfully hosted, served and have seen our community growing since 2011.
This is all that you need to know and do:
- for a few more days, we will continue feeding with content the two platforms, to allow the transition of the community to the new platform to take place as smoothly as possible;
- the accounts/profiles of the active members (connected at least once during the last 4 years) have been automatically transferred to the new platfrom;
- the authentication system will change, therefore don't hesitate to start creating your EU login using an ECAS (European Commission's Authentication Service) account, to log on the new platform;
- within the next few days, an automatically redirection from Ag-Press to Agri-Press will be put in place.
How to create a EU login using an ECAS (European Commission's Authentication Service) account:
- if you have been active on Ag-Press in the last four years (= connected on the platform at least once), your profile is being automatically transferred on the new platform but the autentication method will change
- you will keep the same email address to log in (this is your identifier) ;
- but you will need to create an EU Login using an ECAS (European Commission's Authentication Service) account to log on the new platform;
- once logged in, you will easily find your own marks within the structure of the new platform, very similar to the current one;
- to be ready to connect on Agri-Press on 25 April, you can already start creating your EU login ECAS account to by using this starting page: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/cas/eim/external/register.cgi
- this video will show you the different steps in the ceration of an EU login ECAS account; additional documentation is available here.
- if you haven't been active on Ag-Press in the last four years, your profile is not transferred on the new platform, but you are very welcome to join Agri-Press by creating a new profile and using the same authentication method as indicated above.
In case of additional information or if you need a reminder of your identifier on the old platform (email address used), please contact us via agri-media@ec.europa.eu !
Looking forward to seeing as many as possible of you on the new Agri-Press platform, very soon!
